As a child, I did not enjoy reading, but when I hit my twenties I started into it with a vengeance and have never stopped. I still, at nearly 74, love to read children's books. I may yet find some of those old Hardy Boys at used book sales and read at least one or two. I love to read old books and have a number of novels written around 1900 and a little later. Some were presented to my father and my aunt for Sunday School attendance, and I love them. I can still remember taking a book to school and putting it inside my class book and reading while the teacher taught. i was silly enough to think she didn't notice but they were much more interesting. Course, that might explain my lack of good grades in high school. My friend has all of the originals from his childhood. I also read Chip Hilton by Clair Bee. He was a multi-sport star. Great stuff!
