I
follow a lot of writers’ blogs, so it’s no surprise that the thoughts of
writers (and poets) show up here. Like why books matter. Or the power of a
single word. Or writing for the simple joy of it. Or posting a poem by T.S.
Eliot and then writing a cento poem based on Eliot’s poetry (like Chris Yokel
did).
Sometimes
I have trouble deciding which category to place something, like Nancy’s Rosback
poem “Gift.” The poem is as good as the photograph.
Great
stuff this week.

“Write,
first and foremost, for the joy of it: Lessons from the life of John Owens”

Unfamiliar Name: A T.S. Eliot Cento” by Chris Yokel.
