To walk with you
in
silver time
is
to know
a
baby’s laugh
a
first snow
a
summer moon
To
walk with you
in
silver time
is
to sense
a
softness shimmering
white
sheets warming
an
unexpected rose
To
walk with you
in
silver time
is
to see
the
hand of God.

I like the layers of meaning this contains, love, love in age, God. I like the use of silver and white throughout, for even a rose can be white and that all these things can shimmer, including the light of God. Very nice.

Perfect..
ReplyDeleteA love poem that's lovely in its simplicity and yet multiple meanings. I especially like "white sheets warming / an unexpected rose". A beautiful line, Glynn.
