time when empires
could
be conquered.

ReplyDeletePerfectly describes how the more we age in knowledge and experience, how inadequate and lacking our human understanding is without God's help. Loved this poem, Glynn!
I've also been musing lately on youth vs. age, wondering what connection the current me has to the young one who thought she "knew everything." Your poem gives words to my wonderings. Thank you!
