why are dogs made the way they are? they show us so much about what can be done if we spend the time and loving attention on something or someone. they show us a mirror image of our selves. how we treat them is what they become to us.
Cody was obviously loved, and became a loving part of your family. That is a hard loss.
But, you have gained so much from loving this friend of man. And that will stay with you, another part of you to share.

I miss the dog. His last night was a fun time with some good food for him. He was such a GREAT dog.

I'm beginning to feel like a "veteran" of these decisions over the years, but when the quality of life is no longer there, it's time.

Cody prompted us all to remember our own, loved, gone. So glad God made dogs....especially for us.
