New clothes

After Colossians 3:12-17

New clothes:

a fresh shirt, crisp

pleated pants, pressed

closely on the seams,

and new shoes, unscuffed

foundations

or else

or something else

New clothes:

compassion, true

mercy, deep within

kindness, real

humility, unfeigned

gentleness, demonstrated

patience, constant

forgiveness, practiced

love, perpetuated

peace, ruling

thankfulness, have
