Looking out:
Stares through to beyond
field, hill, history
of possibility, hope
boundless
breaking past the confines
of a life, of lives.
Looking in:
Peers through sunlight into
mind, heart soul
through ruined lens
of wood and rock
to interior rooms,
now grass-carpeted.
Looking at:
Observes the painting
displayed on a wall of light
designed, imagined
as future, as past
the eye’s landscape
beckoning, retreating.

mmm...nice glynn...the last stanza in particular...nice imagery...
Inventive, interesting structure... amazing the perceptual shifts in language that occur when something as slight as a 2 or three letter preposition drastically alters meaning, in addition to effecting a reader's response and an observer's perceptions in explaining "art."
You captured the important angles. Great pounding imagery again.
I like how your eye takes us out, and in and to the observer within.
