Saturday Good Reads

Sheila Seiler Lagrand talks about the day she met her dad, and Brendan MacOdrum writes a poem about his brother’s guitar, which is more about only a guitar. Bradley Moore is determined to demonstrate the gift of hospitality. Nancy Rosback sings a song. Louise Gallagher spends four days and nights on a rooftop – in Calgary – in the winter – to raise money for the homeless. And actor Alan Rickman, with that marvelous voice he has, reads a poem about war. Lots of good stuff online this past week.

Thank you Glynn for the inclusion of On the Roof. Off the Street -- it was actually 3 days, 3 nights... Just don't want your readers to think I was crazy enough to spend 4 whole days and nights on a roof... in a tent... in Calgary... in winter! :)
