A pain that leads

It is a pain that leads,
leads to acceptance,
leads to resignation,
to exhaustion. It cannot
be soothed, not now,
perhaps forever. From
a moment of breath,
everything changes,
nothing endures, it is
all different, alien and
cold until we find
the source of light
again, until we touch
the source of light
again, until we become
light again.

"Until we become light again . . ." Just beautiful, Glynn.

from light to light...there is much in between...and what else really matters without the light?

I especially like the ending.

Pain does seem not only inevitable, but somehow necessary. I loved the structure of this poem and the subject matter. It was beautiful.

This feels like a reminder that I could use again in again each time I experience pain - remembering the light.

Wow. I hope the pain recedes. I'm moved by the subject and the presentation. Thanks.
