Feeding fish

We could be
there still
feeding fish
not fishing fish
fish fattened
an endless diet
bite-sized pellets
we throw
the mouths arch
bodies flail
and rush
flashing
white and gold
orange
water churns,
roils
we throw
bite-sized pellets
a chubby hand
tossing
bite-sized pellets
we could be
there still

Tweetspeak Poetry is still fishing for poems. Bait your hook and see what’s biting.
