Last fall,
the University of Missouri had a series of protests over racial incidents. By
the time it was over, the president and chancellor had resigned, a
communications professor had become the poster child nationwide for stifling
freedom of the press (she was ultimately charged with assault and unintentionally derailed the protest movement), and the
university found itself at the receiving end of the ire of alumni and
taxpayers. The fallout continues, as a Mizzou law professor writes.
Photographer
Dave Sandford discovered the beauty of the waves of Lake Erie – in the
wintertime. The resulting photographs are awe-inspiring.
And good
poetry, scary movies, faith as a foreign country, and good insights for
writers.
Finally, Praise & Harmony is the ministry of
Keith and Sharon Lancaster and Acapella Ministries, with the purpose “to equip
congregations for excellence in worship by training leaders and inviting all of God’s people to sing.” Listen to
“To the King” for an idea of what they do.
