Projection

After Romans 2:1-11

An impulse, natural,

to express an opinion

that’s more than that,

a judgment, sometimes

subtle, sometimes not,

but it is natural,

to judge others

for the sins and omissions

inhabiting ourselves,

as if judging others

expiates the sin

within. No surprise,

but immediately following,

we feel better,

for a time.
