After I Peter 3:13-17
If you suffer, perhaps
when you suffer
for what is good,
be of good heart,
honoring him as
holy, honoring the one
you know is faithful
and true, always
ready to explain
your hope. Always
be gentle, always
respectful, having
a good, clear
conscience. When
suffering comes, when
slander falls on you,
those who revile you
will be shamed. So,
bear witness, always,
to the power of hope.
