A Poem for Christmas

A favorite Christmas poem of mine is by a favorite writer of mine, Gilbert Keith (G.K.) Chesterton. Chesterton (1874-1936) was likely the most productive writer of his time, if not all times. He wrote novels, essays, newspaper and magazine articles, biographies (including ones of Charles Dickens and Francis of Assisi that are still read and admired), broadsides and apologetics. A large man physically, he was larger than life in virtually every field he involved himself in. And he wrote poetry, including a poem for Christmas.
