Fuzzy Rectangles

Rectangles, isn’t it
(aren’t they) boxes
of muted color
purple white red
(descending order)
stacked (ascending)
red white red-blue
in the name
of the Father and
Son and Holy Spirit
(and vice versa)
intended or not
made in the image

Painting: Untitled (Purple, White and Red) (1953) by Mark Rothko, Art Institute of Chicago.
