Deconstruction

Brick by brick, he
took the building down,
stripping to plaster and
wallboard and studs, then
tearing them out, hammer
and chisel and bloody
fingernails tearing
at the remnants, until what
remained was concrete,
the foundation, long
covered over and now
cracked and discolored,
and he knew he was
at the beginning.

Thank you, I was really blessed by your words. They make me think of Isaiah' words as he viewed God "I am undone" But how wonderful that He undoes us to redo us from the inside out.
Bless you,
Susan
