Saturday: The Silence

Scattered hiding
fear anxiety
didn’t find me
don’t find me
dead shepherd
lost sheep
all that work
all the miracles
all the teaching
for nothing
for death
we were the beloved
we are the forsaken
the hunted escaping
into silence
into the dark corners
into the wind
as it wipes the stone
covering hiding
entombing.

I'm trying to catch a glimpse of what it felt like, to not know what we know...

this is a taste.

thank you, Glynn

I would have been terrified. Run like the wind.

These silent times come and go so often and we know what happens on Sunday. Trying to imagine the three year commitment to Jesus and then silence...hmmmm.

What perspective. Love this.

Given all the noise in our world today, imagine if everything and everyone suddenly went completely silent.

I especially like this: "the hunted escaping / ... /into the wind / as it wipes the stone / covering hiding".

Beautiful, Glynn.
Like nance marie and Maureen, I found
"..the hunted escaping / into silence / into the dark corners / into the wind / as it wipes the stone.."
particularly haunting.
