Saturday Good Reads

A daughter tells her mother goodbye. A father struggle with his daughter’s diabetes. A wife struggles with her husband’s unemployment. An Alaskan village signs (not sings but signs) the Hallelujah Chorus. There’s more connectedness here than meets the eye. And it’s all good writing, seeing, listening, viewing.

When you wrote "signs" I thought you meant as in sign language. That video made me smile. Keeping time with signs in a piece like that takes a bit of work.

"Painted House" is charming.

Thank you for including my poem in your round-up.
