How do we live

After Daniel 12:1-13 

How do we live

in a troubled time?

What do we do 

amid destruction

and the death?

The answer comes:

seek to live 

for the Lord,

seek to live as

you’ve been living.

Keep on keeping on

amid the growing

desolation surrounding

you. You are set 

apart for this purpose;

to be, and to do, as

you have been, as you’ve

been doing. You are

the wise ones, not

the wicked ones.

A time of trouble

After Daniel 12:1-13 

Warning: trouble ahead.

Promise: deliverance.

A time unlike any

before, a time 

of trouble, danger,

death, destruction, war

and desolation, yet

a door opens, slightly,

a sliver of light shines

through the darkness,

the light of deliverance

and salvation for the people

enduring, their names

recorded. They slip

through the door; they

enter the light, saved

from destruction ongoing.
