After Hebrews 11:32 and Judges 6-7
To make
plans
and
implement them
and then
they come swarming,
devouring,
destroying what
good hands
have made, mocking
and
taunting. Is obedience
subservient
to power, he asks, he pleads.
Silence
for a time.
Loss of
faith for a time.
Fear for a
time.
They come
again, ravishing,
with
superiority of numbers
breeding
the arrogance power.
The band, the
small band,
with no
power but faith
and
obedience, strike
when they
are told, destroying
the
arrogance.
