The water trickles

The water trickles
from its stone source,
more an accidental spill
at first but the farther
it flows from its source,
it deepens and broadens,
covering feet then ankle
then leg then waist then
suddenly I am swimming
in water deep and fast,
borne on a roaring current
of sweetness and purity,
the water is clean and
fresh and new and carries
me eastward to the ocean
where we become one.

Ez. 47:10 It shall be that fishermen will stand by it from En Gedi to En Eglaim; they will be places for spreading their nets. Their fish will be of the same kinds as the fish of the Great Sea, exceedingly many.

Then Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” Mark 1:17.

Your words are nets...keep casting my friend...

Lovely, Glynn. To know that a roaring current holds only sweetness and purity is to have great faith and trust that we will end where we need to be.

I love what Maureen wrote -- so I write... ditto :)

Beautifully done Glynn

My first thought as it began and moved forward: "Streams of Living Water." Starting in small amounts and gaining strength and length and power as it flows. What we can do as we focus on our Source.

Swarms of living creatures...The beauty of the nature of water. No wonder people are drawn to the power of it's sight and sound and changing dynamic.
