After I Peter 4:1-6
Live not for this life,
as you live in this life,
for to live for this life
is to live for self,
indulging human passions.
Set the life of this life
aside, with its passions,
sensuality, drunkenness,
and debauchery. Yes, you
will be maligned for not
going with the flow;
the darkness of this world
is strong. But you have
made a different choice,
to turn away from
the passions of this life,
to live in the spirit
given you, the spirit
of salvation.
