The
oneness, once torn
by
a spirit seeking
justice,
was lost.
He
chose and clutched
the
dagger offered;
she
found solace only
at
the bottom of the pool.
He
loved her less
than
the desire for revenge;
she
loved him more
than
the desire for life.
Only
in death could
oneness
be found.
