Called to suffer

After I Peter 2:21-25

As he was called,

so, too, are we called,

called to suffer. Sinless,

committing no wrong,

he was called to suffer

to the point of death.

He provided the example

to follow:

Reviled, do not answer

back in kind. Suffering,

do not threaten. Trust

the just judge. Die to sin.

Live to righteousness,

His wounds have

healed us, brought

the strays back

into the fold, back

to the overseer,

back to the shepherd.

Another masterpiece, Glynn! Speaking of masterpieces, I finally finished reading "Brookhaven," and was so enthralled with every character and the way you weaved your story together. I'll try to leave a review on Amazon soon. Blessings!
