Five things

After Matthew 9:35-38

Doing:

            From city to city, town

            to town and village,

            proclaiming and healing

            which are the same

Seeing:

            people, crowds of people

            following, anticipating,

            full of despair and hope

            at the same time

Feeling:

            heart breaks upon them,

            these people full of hope

            and despair, people seeking

            what they don’t know

Saying:

            overwhelmed by the need,

            so many full of need,

            the harvest sown without

            reapers to gather

Asking:

            find the reapers

            call the reapers

            send the reapers

            bring the harvest
