After II Corinthians 1
An old
city made new
an old
city, destroyed
then built
anew upon
the ruins
of the old,
a new
city, Las Vegas
of the
empire, flash
the cash,
live for show,
display
the wealth so
all may
see superiority
and worth
and value.
An old
city with a remnant,
a small
city of light within
the new
city filled with darkness,
a small
light flickering
in any
breeze, in any wind,
the only
light in the old city
rebuilt
into the new.
